My understanding of what Web 2.0 really is has not changed. I've been collecting web 2.0 applications for a while now. What did change was my understanding of how many new applications are out there. Some descriptions I read for new programs made absolutely no sense to me because I have no use for them. They are someone else's solution to a problem that is very specific to them. Some were very technology based on a deeper level than I function.
My favorite discoveries are Voicethread, Slideshare, Glogster, and a better understanding of Flickr. (I couldn't understand why someone would want to confuse themselves with that many photos. Now I understand how great it can be to have access to that many public domain photos to use with so many other programs.)
At first I didn't want to take the time to read too many other colleague's blogs. As time passed I realized they were a good source of ideas for using some of the web 2.0 applications we were exposed to. Seeing what other people in our group did with an application was a source of inspiration. Of course, who expected that one of our bloggers would use this experience to be so creative and entertaining (Wheezy!)
I think the program was well planned and executed. I must say I really needed the extra week to keep up. I can't say I'd change anything in the 23 Things program. It might be interesting to try shorter programs but more of them.
I would definitely do this again. I love technology and often experiment with it on my own. It's nice to have a reward at the end and comrades to share the journey. Thanks again to our tech director and our technology personnel that helped us learn.

Very glad to hear you were able to get some ideas from others! I totally agree about what you can learn by reading others blogs and getting their ideas! Awesome!
I have gained another whole list of Things I want to explore - just from reading the blogs of others in the 23 Things project.
