I have had a Delicious account for a couple of years. I haven't actually been using it this year. I mostly used it in the past purely as a place to record my favorites. This year I have just been using the favorites on my computer. I think I stopped using Delicious because it was just one more thing to log on to. I wasn't really using the 'social' aspect of it. I think I only contacted another member of Delicious once. I rarely if ever used the service to search for a tag. I am going to revisit this site and try some searches.
I revisited my Delicious social bookmarking site and took a better look at tagging. I do appreciate the organization possibilities that tagging offers. I noticed for the first time the cloud tags that are color coded and sized. I played with my cloud for awhile switching it back and forth from tags holding the largest aount of bookmarks to listing them in alphabetical order. It's always good to have a new perspective. I also reinstalled the Delicious buttons on my computer. Come to think of it-I used this site a lot more when there was a button to push. Thanks for the suggestion of having the computer remember me when I log in, Dino.

I would suggest having the computer remember your username and password for Delicious. That way it's just as easy to tag a site as it is to bookmark it. Its got to be easy for you to use. Then get snoopy and look at what others are tagging. You can find some real gems.
Having the "My Delicious" "Save to Delicious" buttons on my computer have made all the different in the world in how I use Delicious.
